A meeting of the local stakeholder group was held within the CCSI4CCSI project

On February 28, 2025, the second meeting of the local stakeholder group within the "CCSI4CCSI - Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries for Collaboration, Competitiveness, Sustainability, and Innovation" project was held at Enter Koprivnica. Representatives of the City of Koprivnica attended the meeting, Enter Koprivnica, and stakeholders from the creative sector, who jointly analyzed the current state and development prospects of the cultural and creative industries in the Koprivnica area and the wider region.

The CCSI4CCSI project, funded through the Interreg Europe program, aims to support actors in the cultural and creative sectors in their development, innovation, and connection with other economic sectors. The project also contributes to achieving the goals of the European Commission regarding green and digital transitions, as well as economic development that involves a wide range of stakeholders.

One of the key segments of the meeting was the focus group, during which a SWOT analysis of the region was conducted. During this analysis, participants identified the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that shape the local creative sector. Through constructive discussions, important insights were gained, which will serve as a basis for further planning and improvement of the sector.

Among the identified strengths were the rich cultural heritage, existing infrastructure, and the growing interest in creative industries. On the other hand, challenges such as limited financial resources, insufficient visibility of creative initiatives, and a lack of qualified personnel emerged as key obstacles to overcome. Additionally, participants recognized numerous opportunities, such as strengthening international cooperation, digitalization, and linking with tourism, while potential threats included economic instability and a lack of institutional support.

In addition to the SWOT analysis, participants shared experiences and best practices from other European regions and discussed future steps in implementing the project. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of networking and collaboration between the public sector, entrepreneurs, and creatives to ensure optimal conditions for the development of cultural and creative industries.

The meeting concluded with a brief feedback survey and informal networking, where participants had the opportunity to further deepen discussions and establish potential collaborations.

The CCSI4CCSI project will continue through a series of activities aimed at strengthening the capacity of the creative sector and creating concrete measures that will contribute to its competitiveness and sustainability. The City of Koprivnica and Enter Koprivnica will continue to actively cooperate with sector stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the project and the achievement of its goals.

The project is funded by the Interreg Europe program, with a total value of €1,558,854, of which €126,810 is allocated to the City of Koprivnica and €163,462 to Enter Koprivnica. The project's duration is from April 1, 2024, to June 30, 2028.
